South Carolina, April 24, 1773.

I left at Jacob Whitely's, in Fredericksburg, in the Month of December 1771, my Saddle Bags, in which were sundry Clothes, and many Papers of Consequence, particularly a Bond of William Rea's for six Hundred and eighty Pounds, one of Richard Farrar's for three Hundred and eighty Pounds, and a Note of John Furnice's for two Hundred Pounds, all South Carolina Money. I do hereby promise any Person a genteel Reward who will deliver me those Papers, and I also forewarn any Person receiving the Payment of them.
