Be it remembered that on this day personally came before me J. B. Scobey, Justice of the Peace in and for the Township of Springfield, County and State aforesaid James Merrell and Aquilla Rariden who was by me duly sworn to appraise the personal property of the estate of Thomas Selfridge deceased so far as it does come to their knowledge and a true valuation put thereon the same to the best of their judgement and understanding &c.
