FREDERICKSBURG, March 23, 1771.

I INTEND to take Shipping for London in August next, and to be back here early the ensuing Spring, and earnestly request all those whose Accounts and Bonds are now due to the Concern, and at the Store kept by me here, to make speedy Payment, which will greatly oblige me. In my Absence the Business will be carried on by Mr. Hugh Stuart, whose transactions with my good old Customers (or whatever good new Ones chose to trade or have Dealings here) will, I am persuaded, give universal Satisfaction.

GEORGE MITCHELL.

N.B. I intend, in about a Month hence, to move to a store on the south side of the Street almost opposite to this, and just above the Long Ordinary.
