STRAYED or stolen from Fredericksburg on Sunday 16th of September, a sooty black mare, about 4 inches high, with a star in her forehead, and white hairs intermixed with black all over her face, a switch tail and hanging mane, marked with the plough and branded on the near buttock RB; had on when lost, an old saddle. Whoever will bring the said mare to the subscriber in Spotsylvania, shall have TEN SHILLINGS reward.
